According to the statistics released from the China Textiles Import & Export Association, foreign trade in textiles and apparel increased by 13.1% in 2002 from the US$79,930 million of 2001.
    From the statistics, exports rose by 15.7% to US$62,680 million, and imports grew by 4.5% to US$ 17,260 million.
