According to the newest statistics released by Nation Bureau of Statistics, in Feb.2003 China spinning output was 613,200 tons (large enterprises), down by 34,000 tons comparing to Jan. 2003, but still up by 22.13% year on year. In Dec.2002, the top two province were Shandong and Jiangsu, 126,400 tons and 123,700 tons respectively.
