Guangdong Trade Promotion Council disclosed lately that 2003 Guangzhou Int'l Underwear, Beachwear and Garment's Fabric & Accessories Exhibition of Garments will take place in April 2003, the same time when China Exporting Commodities Fair (CECF) happens.
    Vice President of the Council Bai Mingshao remarked that the Garment Exhibition, in comparison with high integration of CECF, has its own advantages in terms of profession.
    China being a super country in consumable production, garment products have been the major items that earn foreign exchange through exports. Statistics from customs show that export of garments hit US$ 30 billion during the first ten months of last year. Bai said that the garment exhibition aims to foster domestic garment product export and to help the outstanding small and medium enterprises find exporting channels by dint of trader resource platform of CEFE.
    It is said that this exhibition, covering 5,000 square meters of show area, focuses on underwear, beachwear, and garment's fabric and accessories. Over 200 enterprises from home and abroad are expected to participate in the exhibition.
