Auchan-controlled French company Otexo has acquired the entire 66.43% stake owned by the Marcade family in French menswear chain Brice for an undisclosed sum, French financial markets watchdog CMF said yesterday.
    Otexo obtained 73.26% of the voting rights in Brice and has now launched a takeover bid for the remainder of Brice, CMF added for (13.3 a share. Shares in Brice have been suspended from trading on the Second Marche of Euronext Paris.
    Brice has 221 stores, including 195 under the Brice brand and 26 under the Koor's and Son brands.
