Representative of French foreign trade ministry said on 19th August that in spite of the decrease in France foreign trade, with exports down by 4.8% and imports down by 3%, trade with China increased rapidly, exports to China up by 18.6% and imports up by 7.7%. Main exports to China were aviation products, machinery, electronic equipment, audio and video products and automobiles. Imports from China were information products, garments, suitcase and footwear etc.
